A change in international regulations brings an amendment to the requirements notifying passengers of items forbidden in baggage. Both airlines and airports are responsible for displaying this notification at the following locations:
- Where tickets are issued
- Passenger check-in
- Aircraft boarding areas
- Baggage claim areas
This information must now include visual examples of dangerous goods forbidden for transport aboard an aircraft as per both the ICAO TI and the US 49 CFR Signage Requirements.
Using feedback gathered from from airlines, airports and passengers, IATA has developed a unique poster which communicates this message fully.
- The international version of this poster is 61cm x 91.4cm or offered in an A4 sized counter display and and is intended for all countries except the United States. Posters and counter displays are sold in bundles of five.
- The American (USA) version of this poster is sized 24” x 36” and includes all additional necessary text required by the 49 CFR.
