  • Operational and Technical airline members within an airline who may be called upon to participle in an aircraft accident involving an aircraft of its airline or code share partner
  • This course is a must for anybody having an interest in aircraft accident and incident investigations with a view to prevent occurrences and enhance aviation safety.

  • Introduction to aviation organization, regulatory agencies and management systems
  • The introduction of ICAO SARPS
  • ICAO Annex 13 SARPS
  • Introduction to investigation authorities
  • The obligations of the State of Occurrence
  • Participation in an investigation and the role of accredited representative, advisor and expert
  • The rights and obligations of participants and the conduct of the investigation
  • The role of the airline advisor or expert and the airline support functions in respect of Documents; CVR; DFDR; and provision of transportation
  • Accident reporting and safety recommendations
  • The need for an airline go-team 
  • Review of some major accidents
